Privacy Policy
TrueRPM is a load profitability calculator for owner-operators, published by Haulmoore LLC ("Haulmoore," "we," "us"). This policy explains what the TrueRPM mobile app (package com.truerpm.app) and truerpm.app collect, why, who processes it, how long we keep it, and how you get rid of it.
The short version. We collect the minimum needed to run your account and sync your numbers. We do not sell your data. We do not share your cost per mile, rates, or load history with brokers, load boards, freight platforms, data brokers, or advertisers. There is no advertising in TrueRPM. You can delete everything at any time at truerpm.app/delete-account.
1. Who we are and how to reach us
- Controller: Haulmoore LLC, a Delaware limited liability company
- Mailing address: 292 Shisler Ct, Newark, DE 19702, United States
- Privacy contact: support@truerpm.app
2. What we collect and why
This table maps to the categories used in the Google Play Data Safety form and the Apple App Store privacy questionnaire. The declarations in both consoles should match it line for line.
| Data | Why we have it | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and account identifier | Create and authenticate your account, restore your data on a new device, respond to support requests | Required to create an account |
| Financial inputs you enter — cost-per-mile components, truck payment, insurance, fuel price, MPG, maintenance reserve, target wage, daily net goal | Perform the calculations that are the entire function of the app; sync your baseline across devices | Required for the app to work |
| Load records — gross linehaul, accessorial revenue, loaded and deadhead miles, tolls, pickup and delivery dates, resulting net and verdict | Produce your dispatch log, history, and CSV export (Premium) | Optional; only saved if you save a load |
| Subscription status — whether you hold an active entitlement, plan type, renewal state | Unlock Premium features and honor cancellations | Required for Premium |
| Diagnostics — crash reports, error logs, app version, device model, OS version | Find and fix crashes | Automatic |
| Device and installation identifiers — a Firebase installation ID generated on your device | Tie crash reports to a single install so a bug can be traced, and count installs without identifying you | Automatic |
| App activity — screens opened, features used, aggregate counts of calculations run | Understand which parts of the app are used so development time goes to the right place. Never the contents of a calculation. | Automatic |
| Referral code and referral attribution, where you use one | Credit the correct account and prevent abuse of the referral program | Optional |
What we do not collect
- Payment card details. Purchases run through Google Play Billing (and, on iOS, the App Store). We never see, receive, or store your card number.
- Precise or background location. TrueRPM does not track where your truck is. Miles are numbers you type in.
- Contacts, photos, call logs, SMS, or microphone audio.
- Carrier identity. No DOT number, MC number, or CDL number is required.
3. We do not sell or share your data
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA). We have not done so in the preceding twelve months. Specifically and permanently: your cost per mile, rate history, and load decisions are never disclosed to freight brokers, load boards, 3PLs, carriers, factoring companies, insurers, or data aggregators, in identified or aggregated form.
4. Service providers who process data for us
We use a small number of vendors to run the app. They process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions) — account authentication and encrypted storage of your baseline and load records. Firebase privacy.
- Google Play Billing — subscription purchase, renewal, and cancellation.
- RevenueCat, Inc. — subscription entitlement management; receives your account identifier and subscription state, not your freight data. RevenueCat privacy.
- Google Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics — crash reporting, stability diagnostics, and aggregate usage measurement. These SDKs generate a device-scoped installation identifier and record crash traces and in-app events. They do not receive your freight figures.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and content delivery for truerpm.app. Cloudflare processes standard server-log information including IP address to serve pages and mitigate attacks. Cloudflare privacy.
- Google Forms — if you request the free cost-per-mile worksheet on our website, the email address you submit is processed by Google Forms and used to send you the worksheet and occasional product updates. Unsubscribe at any time.
We may also disclose information where required by law or valid legal process, to protect the rights and safety of users, and to a successor entity in the event of a merger or sale of the business — in which case this policy continues to govern the transferred data until you are notified otherwise.
5. Security — stated accurately
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest on Google Cloud infrastructure. Access to production data is restricted by authentication rules that scope each account's records to that account. Calculations run locally on your device; the app does not need to send a load to a server in order to price it.
What "encrypted" does and does not mean here. TrueRPM does not use end-to-end encryption. Like any app with cloud sync and account recovery, an authorized operator of Haulmoore LLC can technically access stored records. We do that only to diagnose a fault or to answer a support request you have raised. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
6. How long we keep it
- Account and baseline data: for as long as your account is open.
- Load history: retained while your account is open so history and exports work; you can clear individual records in the app.
- After you delete your account: account and freight data are removed from live systems within 30 days, and purged from encrypted backups within 90 days.
- Transaction and tax records: retained as long as required by law, typically seven years. These are billing records; they contain no freight data.
- Diagnostics: retained up to 90 days, then deleted or aggregated.
7. Your rights and choices
Everyone
- Delete. In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. On the web: truerpm.app/delete-account. No app install required to submit a request.
- Access and export. Premium users can export load history to CSV in the app. Anyone can request a copy of their stored data by emailing us.
- Correct. Every value we hold about your operation is editable in the app.
- Withdraw from email. Unsubscribe link in every marketing email.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing — and because we do neither, there is nothing to opt out of. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a right to limit. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right. Submit requests to support@truerpm.app; we verify by matching the request to your registered account email and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may submit on your behalf with written permission.
EEA, UK and Swiss residents
Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are contract (running your account and calculations), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product diagnostics), and consent (marketing email). You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority. Data is processed in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
8. Children
TrueRPM is a commercial tool for licensed commercial drivers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). If we learn that we have, we delete it promptly. Contact support@truerpm.app if you believe a child has created an account.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change — a new category of data, a new processor, or a new purpose — we will update the date at the top and give notice in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use TrueRPM after a change means you accept the revised policy.
